June at Little Dots! Rainy days play & celebrating Dad, yey!

It’s officially the middle of the year… can you believe it?

June came in with sunshine, extra playtime, and another beautiful reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple joys of childhood. At Little Dots Learning, this month is all about rainy day-themed fun and celebrating the amazing role dads and father figures play in our children’s lives.

Whether you’re squeezing in quick learning moments between beach days or just trying to survive the rain (ugh even heat!) indoors, I’ve put together two free printable packs that can make learning a little lighter and a lot more meaningful this month.

Fun Busy Book

Our Busy Book is filled with toddler-friendly activities that are fun, colorful, and simple to do at home (or even while traveling!).

Here’s what’s inside:

  • Beach-Themed Counting Pages – Count sandcastles, shells, and beach balls
  • Watermelon Colors & Matching Activities – Sweet and bright just as refreshing as watermelons
  • Trace and Draw Prompts – Practice lines and creativity with rainy day scenes
  • Fun Sorting Games – Great for fine motor skills and focus

Whether it’s a rainy day or you’re just trying to keep little hands busy in the afternoon, this pack offers quick and easy ways to mix learning into your June routine.

Father’s Day Activity Pack: Pages to Celebrate Dad

We know it’s not always easy to find the perfect gift for Dad so why not let the little ones create something from the heart?

The Father’s Day Activity Pack includes:

  • “All About My Dad” Prompt: A fill-in-the-blanks page with funny and sweet answers
  • Draw a Picture of Dad: Let them get creative!
  • Father’s Day Coupons: Redeemable for hugs, quiet time, or even helping clean up toys
  • Bonding Activities: Pages they can color or work on side by side with Dad

Whether it’s for Dad, Lolo, Tito, or any father figure, these pages help make memories that matter.

A Gentle Reminder:

This season is about presence more than perfection.

If your little one doesn’t finish every page, okay lang ’yan.

If learning looks like playing in the sand or counting ice cubes while making juice then yes, that still counts. Learning happens in everyday moments.

So breathe. Play. And don’t forget to download your free materials from the Resources Page.

From My Home to Yours

June may be full of rain (sunshine and heat in between! If you’re based in the Philippines, — you know what I’m talking about), and it also comes with chaos (hello, toddler tantrums!). So whether you’re running after your kiddo or catching up on sleep during nap time, know this: you’re doing great.

Let this month be full of joy, a little learning, and a lot of love.
