Hi there. It's been a while. Actually, almost a year since I last wrote here on Little Dots Learning. I didn't mean to disappear for so long. Life simply became..
If you have a little one turning 3–5 soon, maybe with speech or developmental delays, and you’re planning for Kinder next year, please take this to heart: You don’t have to have it all figured out right now.
June was messy, tiring, and full of surprises.. as in COVID surprises! Plus deadlines, Theodore getting sick twice. But we showed up, finished what mattered, and stayed grateful. Even when it’s hard, grace carries us. Here’s to more little dots connected, one quiet moment at a time.
March was quiet, but steady. Theodore’s learning became more consistent, and I was reminded why I started this blog in the first place, not for attention, but to serve. Little Dots Learning was built with love, for moms like me, one quiet step at a time. And that’s more than enough.
In May 2023, a routine check-up with a temporary pediatrician led us to discover that our son, Theodore, needed further evaluation for speech delays. While waiting for a specialist, we began early intervention at home and eventually started speech therapy. Read about our journey, the challenges we faced, and the incredible progress Theodore has made.
Little Dots Learning is my journey into the world of homeschooling, inspired by my son's unique learning needs. As a mom just starting out, I'm documenting our experiences to help other parents navigate the challenges of early childhood education. Join me as I explore fun, pressure-free ways to support our children's growth at home, sharing practical tips, activities, and insights along the way.
